Tangalooma Residence, the ultimate lifestyle.

What would it be like to live in the most exclusive residential building on the Sunshine Coast? We take you through Tangalooma, a stunning apartment complex set to be built in the vibrant beachside hub of Mooloolaba.

The setting

Located at the end of River Esplanade, Tangalooma Residence is set in a commanding position. To the right is Pacific Park, which includes three acres of mature trees and grass flanked by Tuckers Creek and the Mooloolah River. As Tangalooma takes shape, the park will also undergo a complete makeover, thanks to the developer and the regional council.

Visitors will arrive by a new road beautifully landscaped with mature canopy trees that provide the Mooloolah River as the backdrop. The building’s glorious external gardens will offer year-round colour and set the stage for a treat that awaits inside.

The entry

So what will Tangalooma be like? Let’s enter through the front gate and walk up the suspended stairs. These stairs will overlook a spectacular entry statement to the property. To the left is the tranquil water feature – a four-metre-wide body of water that gently runs down a wall of glass and into the entry pond. To the right you will see a cascading waterfall in front of a beautifully landscaped backdrop with stone walls. Clever lighting and running water, will set the stage for what awaits inside.

Upon entering the seven-star foyer, there will be an array of special treats. Look up to the private floating walkways at different levels, which serve as the entrances to each sky home. To the left will be four incredible storeys of marble wall and above are four opening roofs that let in the natural light and breezes.
Ahead is the spectacular live vertical garden, bringing the foyer to life. It will be highlighted by soft lighting, and will finish with water cascading into yet another pond below. To the right, the private lifts will offer exclusive access to each home. The lifts will be interposed by two more features, which have water cascading down glass and softly entering the ponds. Tangalooma’s Garden of Eden.

The basement

As we arrive home at Tangalooma, we will be greeted by the exquisite architectural building and magnificent landscaping with the Mooloolah River as the backdrop. The basement is accessed by the driveway, where vehicles will glide under a live garden ceiling before entering secure private parking for each resident

With epoxy floors, flush ceilings, concealed lighting and tiled lift entries, the basement is more a prestigious car showroom than apartment car park. Each resident will have the luxury of private secure parking for 4 cars

The exclusive private lift awaits the fortunate owner.

The gymnasium and sauna

The fully equipped air-conditioned gymnasium with large TV screen will satisfy the most discerning trainer. There is a large window, which lets in natural light and creates a unique aquarium view.

Following the workout, residents will have a few choices – to enjoy a sauna, grab a shower, or take a dip in the pool?

Communal facility

With a spectacular view to the river, the communal area will boast an array of surprises. Magnificently appointed, the area will feature private wine fridges, a pizza oven, large TV screen, barbecue, ovens, sinks, a dishwasher and stone benches, plus a 12-seat dining table and an opening roof. It will be the perfect place to entertain in complete privacy.

Spectacular sliding glass doors in this communal area peel back and disappear into a cavity in the wall. This serves to create a huge opening that overlooks the pool, deck area and the river, and further creates even more space and the feeling of openness and serenity.

Looking back to the foyer, residents can take in the two-tiered cascading water feature, which completes the magnificent setting.

The marina

Tangalooma’s four-berth marina means each residence will have a private berth with safe deepwater access to the ocean. The marina has two 18-metre berths and two 16-metre berths.

The Mooloolah River waterway has provided a unique natural setting of privacy, as the frontage of Tangalooma Residence is protected by a sand bar some 100 metres out into the river. This guarantees a clear, uninterrupted channel where boats cannot moor.

Time to go inside

After stepping into their private lift, residents will enjoy a smooth ride up to their level, where they are greeted by a floating walkway leading to the sky homes’ private foyer.

As you walk across the suspended walkway, looking down you will see the water features creating peace and tranquillity with the magnificent landscaping bringing life into the building. The grand four-storey marble wall and entry glass, together with the natural light from the above opening roofs, create an ever-changing array of shadows and amazing scenes. The spectacular setting provides the ultimate surprise that awaits inside.

After entering the grand doors, the view awaits. Each sky home has been designed to immediately display that amazing view, with each residence boasting an impressive water frontage of more than 30 metres.

The balconies have been designed to create an array of living spaces, which will give the discerning owner the option to let their creative flair run wild.
